Lvl 40 solos Flareon Raid Boss

Finally, a video evidence of it happening...Found originally on SR and done by kieng...OP is honest that they have maps and he used 4x 100% Lvl 39 Golems with RT/SE. 2x Vaps never entered the battle (one reason you can pretty much always stop at 4x maxed attackers for raids at least...).

Good points to note and I'd agree is that dodging to fire off another charge move is worth it...Also, he is on an iPhone 6s and start lag is a mere 2 secs. Now, only Jolteon left as last unsoloable Tier 3 Raid boss.

If Rhydon could have Dig in the future, Jolteon could be soloed. Or maybe strategic swapping mid battle could work. Or when gen 3 mons are released.

What about Bulldoze then? A 2-bar ground move that's fast enough would be what might help because the main problem is charging stuff enough to land the specials before getting KO-ed. In simulations of lvl 40 Rhydons, they always get KO-ed eventually and they can only land 3 120 ground move specials (Earthquake). If there was a 2 bar move that as a whole could deliver more than 120 damage, the Rhydon could unleash one bar attack before fainting, doing some extra damage.

If I could change one thing on Rhydon, I'd give them Mud Shot instead of Mud Slap. The much higher EPS would allow Rhydon to get those potent one bar attacks off more quickly, and the loss of a little DPS on the quick move would be worth it. Also, Rhydon could dodge then, which might be nice.

Mud Shot would have been a good move to have instead of Rock Smash. The only thing I can use RS against is Blissey and even then it's not really doing much damage, my Machoke is better for that role.

You lost me at 4 100% Level 39.

Yes, I don't really care how map/tracker users "manage" to do things, they're not playing in the same PoGO universe I'm in.

All I get out of this: Regular players definitely can't solo a Flareon.

I don't know. I suspect a regular player that's level 40 with maxed pokemon could do it. Because the difference between 100% and 94% isn't that much

But 4 100%, I don't care a cheater soloed it.

I'll care when a legit hardcore player does it
