Trash Gyarados?
Level 37, I have 8 Gyarados, 2 (?) are caught. Many acquired before the moveset changes.
100 Dragon Tail / Hydro Pump (3046 CP) 96 Bite / Hydro Pump (2887 CP) 89 Bite / Hydro Pump 2732 CP) 69 Bite / Outrage (2716 CP) 80 Dragon Tail / Crunch (2651 CP) 93 Bite / Twister (2326 CP) 98 Bite / Dragon Pulse (1730 CP) 96 Dragon Tail / Hydro Pump (1304 CP)I have a few questions, mainly:
A. I'm trying to thin all my mons, should I bother keeping #6 and #7? They are "legacy movesets" but are complete garbage in use and not powered up very high, so it would be costly. Any others to trash?
B. Should I consider using a TM to get Outrage on my 100% IV? I haven't been able to evolve one.
C. Any other suggestions?

Leave #1, 100% alone. Hydro Pump has the highest DPS of all of Gary's attacks. With DT, he's be pretty effective against Ttar, and will shred ground/rock mon that are double weak to water. Vaporeon might do a hair better, but Gary's higher base CP probably is more important.
You might thing DT/O is good against D'nite, and it is, but Lapras is better, and Articuno (someday) will be better yet.
A: I would trash the number 4 and 5 if i had to those movesets are just horrible or use them as gym gyarados, i would keep hydropump ones because if gyarados gets a water or flying quick attack..a TM and boom you have a strong generalist once again, twister and dragon pulse are worthless but legacy moveset are nice to collectors
B: Dont use TM in Gyarados at all atleast for now, hydrop ump is the best charge moveset for gyarados dont try to use him as nite counter, that is where lapras shine even has more hp and deals more damage..and you can go with cloyster too and some otherss
