I'm not sure what to make of this, I'm guessing only one thing can be unlocked per window. Thoughts?

I do not want to speculate, BUT it looks like within each catch window the people at the park determine what bonuses we get and people outside the park(i believe by catching a certain amount.) determine how long those bonuses are. For example Window 1 lets say they catch more fire pokemon and we(outside the park) catch enough for the Silver badge. I believe everyone gets a Candy Bonus for 48 Hours. and so on for each window. Mystery Challenge i guess relies on people inside the park, and hopefully... HOPEFULLY!! The major global reward is something like a rare chance that all gyms link to a legendary raid, or Regional barriers are broken AKA catch all regional pokemon. All i will say is, hopefully i have no plans and i remember these times because i want all gold and all bonuses. 10 days away!!!
And sorry, i meant for two days.... Gyms become open lobbies. Like if you're a rural player and a legendary egg is near by it is linked to multiple gyms maybe like 500 gyms. so in a legendary battle for those two days you can have the help of people around the world that are also battling them. you could have lobbies of up to 30 people. idk, that is just an idea of what the thing could be. chance for everyone to get one then bring it back to reality that you need a ton of people to do it. lol.

The first part sound to me like they will release Regionals. If this turns out true, a day trip might be in order. The German location is only 4 hours by car away for me. The second part probably does not promise Legendaries, but new raid bosses from the existing list. Which just might force me to buy raid passes.
Does anyone else think that the mystery challange might be legendaries unlocked for raiding? If it is true I hope they take into consideration that not every countries have the same timezone so the window should not be that small...A lot of people may be sleeping while this takes place, which is a ...
Mystery Challenge takes place inside Grant Park. But i agree with you towards the first Windows, Should be one every 3-4 hours. The event is 10am- 7pm no reason you can't do 11am, then a window at 2pm, then one at 5pm. But as for the next two phases.... phase two is inside the park and phase three is over a 48 hour period, which everyone across the world can take part.
