Failed to get game data from server???

I was having the same problem, but it's okay right now. Potato server is having issues again.

I had the same thing and thought I was banned for a second. lol. It works now.

I was in the middle of a Snorlax raid and I got this message and my friends got him and I didn't. thanks Niantic. After 10 minutes I was able to log in the game though..

Same thing happened to me as I was about to start a Tyranitar raid with 6 other players. They waited a while, but then got started. When my phone (iphone7) finally stopped glitching, it put me in a different lobby with another player who's phone had also given him the same message (we hadn't noticed him sitting in his car). The two of us had no chance of getting it. So frustrating and a wasted pass.

This is what I have to go through every time I interact with a gym. Well not the server data thing but won't let me log in for quite a long time.
