One of those cant' decide on my own questions

I got a Quick TM on my 10th raid. Funny, it didn't show in the raid rewards, but was in my bag later.
My candidates:

Tyranitar IT/SE 2100 cp 87%
Machamp BP/DP 908 cp 98%
Dragonite SW/O 2000 cp 87%
Rhydon RS/E 2000cp 93%

Finally a TM. It's my first. Actually, I'm excited for this. Who would you choose?

Edit: I have no other Tyranitars, 2 Machamp 1900 cp BP/cc, KC/Sub, several Rhydons(none double ground)
Forgot the Dragonites: Sw/DP 93% 3200cp, SW/O 3000cp

If we don't know what you have we can't answer for sure, but assuming you have none of the above w a perfect moveset I would say in the current meta my first priority would be either Tyranitar or Machamp as they would be most useful currently. I'd choose machamp because B&SE is probably less useful than C&DP is right now.

My 3rd choice would be the dragonite and my fourth would be the Rhydon.

Okay I added the information,
For me this question is mostly about moveset, everything else irrelevant.

If you can take them all to L30 immediately and you have the candy and stardust to do so my original answer sticks for me.

Dragonite, you can catch the others in raids with better movesets

Nope I can't, they flee.plus I have 400 candy or so anyway, maybe that one isn't that important. Just nice to have

I disagree with this. A 98 IV machamp is an immediate tm and power up, especially as you only need to use a fast. It will be a beast.

Without knowing your attacker line up, is say machamp. Definitely machamp.

Are you limited in a certain raid goal with your present roster? Several of those would range from "maybe" to "yes do it" if, say, you are coming a hairs breath of soloing an Alakazam for example.

I have no problems in raids because there's a group, I failed Alakazam together with my GF.

So big raids aren't an issue for you?

Raid a Tyranitar.

Save your TM to turn him into the B/C version.

Use him on Alakazam now giving you greater traction with more Zams on Machamps etc.

Then use him on legendaries.

Profit.

For stuff like Tyranitar a lot of people show up. L3 Raids mostly 4 people, so they work out most of the time.

I'm taking your advice and keep my TM for now. But since Raid Bosses generally flee, I'll decide between Tyranitar and Machamp.

If you do enough Tyranitar raids, there is a decent chance to get better IV than 87. Use TM on that one unless you are dying to solo alakazam immediately.

I currently am allocating my stardust to Pokémon that will help against specific raid bosses. Specifically, I want more mons that will help solo tier 3 bosses, or contribute to tier 4 bosses (the ones I want are Snorlax, lapras, and Tyranitar, all of which are weak against fighting).

Tyranitar has a high attack but lacking two of the same STAB moves is a turn off for me,

Machamp is great against some of the tier 4 bosses,

Dragonite is a great generalist but in my squad acts as a filler if I run out of viable type advantage mons,

Rhydon's MS/EQ is an alright filler against Tyranitar, and is good against many tier 3 bosses.

Those are my opinions

I have 4 2800+ Machamps and love them because they are all Counter/Dynamic Punch. They are studs in raids. Second, I would go Tranny followed by Dragon.

I'm not sure what country everyone is from but we need to take a minute to discuss translation issues...

Definitely Machamp for me...98% means you are unlikely to get higher IV (and I'm an IV snob) so do that one and "1" of your Machamps are done...

You can get a higher IV Tyranitar from a raid and you'd feel bad using it on a 87% when you just caught a 100% Tyranitar with IT/SE, etc...
