Name some obvious things Niantic changed for the better
We know this box sale is useless, likely stalling until bonuses during the Go fest. Some things that were eventually changed for the better:
1. It took months to be able to listen to your own music, instead of being sound trapped in an elevator
2. Adding buddies and a distance graphic on your active screen, instead of constantly checking your egg screen--even there it wasn't often refreshed
3. Daily catch and pokestop bonuses
4. For months when training at a friendly gym you could only fight with one Pokemon against a whole squad
5. Shiny Magikarp! (Not really, but I thought a proper list needed 5.)

I live in brazil, and one youtuber tried to talk to niantic a few months after they add the amazing ingress feature. This is a resume of their "conversation"
Youtuber: asked for a better way to add stops, mostly in brazil since we have a serious pokestop problem.
Niantic: try our new ingress sistem to add portals that will be pokestops.
Youtuber: there are not many people in brazil that play ingress, very few with lvl hight enough to request portals, a feature inside pogo would be ideal.
Niantic: well then, that would be an amazing oportunitie for new people start playing ingress.
That is how they love us.
The simple idea that you need to play another game from the same company in order to get a feature for PoGO makes me crazy.
Every day that passes I wish more and more that this game gets destroyed on sales, that Niantic goes down and that some other company that has some idea on how gaming and customers actually works buy the game and make it great again.
I really wish them the worst because they have showed time after time they don't care for me as a customer so I don't care at all about them (talking about the company in general, specifically the ones that make the decisions, not the developers, designers and other members that probably have amazing ideas that are not live because of who is in charge)
Meloscomo - To me, the answer is obvious. Don't be a customer. Play for free. I do. I am having a blast, partly because I don't get upset when Niantic makes a change that would infuriate me if had actually paid money to play this game. Apparently, I am playing at your expense. Sorry. :) Maybe I should send you a Starbucks card. I think Starbucks is paying for me.
This is the only reason I didn't quit the game for good the day I evolved my 7th Charizard with DC and my 6th Dragonite with SW. I was seriously >< this close to deleting the app. But I didn't pull the trigger, and the next day was when Niantic announced TMs. (And even though I have yet to get a charge TM, at least I have hope that doesn't involve being lucky enough to get a good hatch and then walk hundreds of KM yet again.)
- Making it easier to get coins
Except for one day, when work interfered and I couldn't place a mon in a local gym, I got my 50 coins every day.
- Making it easier to get balls, berries, etc. by having gyms double as stops.
This is huge! You can take down a gym, spin the stop, collect. I haven't run out of balls since and used to all the time, even having to buy them (rural player). Now I have a pile of them and it's great.
- Having to spend much less gold on the game
Yes, Niantic, I thank you for letting me keep more of my $. This is not only for the reasons listed, but because your event is so bad that I am not even slightly tempted to buy the gift box (I can do math, LOL) and there is no reason for other purchases such as incubators.
Keep up the good work, Niantic ;)
- No more than one pokemon of any species allowed in any gym. This added variety to the pokemons one battles. (Many users of this site begged for that change for a long time.)
- 6 pokemon maximum per gym. (This helped make any gym vulnerable to a solo player.)
- The other changes that have led to the decrease in spoofers.
