XP is increasing daily regarding the hours defending the gyms?

Since the latest gym system update I am with 2,146 hours defending gyms. I am usually with 9-12 pokemons constantly in a gym (before I was with zero,level 26 now). I wasn't focused to my xp but I found that my xp number is raising about 4000-5000 daily even I am not "raiding" or capturing pokemons. Something strange or the xp is a daily reward for defending gyms?

Which XP? Badge or trainer?

Trainer's, that's the only I can see. Where can I see the badge's xp? (like number not color).

Very doubtful you get exp...

You aren't even doing 1 raid a day and letting your pass go to waste?

Maybe you are doing 1 raid which gives 3k a pop...That's a lot for a lot of people considering 3k is 30 additional pokemon caught alone (not counting any bonuses)...

Should even do level 1 raids if your pass will be wasted.
