This made my day... And a question

I had a really bad day at work on Thursday and was afraid of much of the same today. Then I timed my lunch break with a tier 2 raid at the nearby gym. Just as I reached the walking trail behind the agency I saw the back of this cool gal (a rare female). And although she's only a level 8, her IV's are 80% and she cheered me up (in other words, a keeper).

Then I did the level 2 Electrabuzz raid and didn't make much progress with the recommended counter, Rhydon with EQ. So I switched to eggy with SB and got him with time to spare! Not even recommended, SB is just a devastating charge move.

I had 13 balls for the bonus challenge and almost didn't make it! After 3 golden razz berries I finally caught him with the 12th ball. Are Elektrabuzz bosses difficult catches, have they become more challenging, or was it my poor technique? I had no problem with my previous bosses, including 2 Machamp, 2 Arcanine, Vape, Jolteon and another Electrabuzz just 3 days ago!
