Any news on Anniversary event?

So, do our Japanese and East Asian friends have any news on special things going on for the anniversary event, or is it keyed to US Pacific time?

No.

It is already anniversary in the place where Pokémon GO first released, Australia and New Zealand. At that time, Niantic's Pacific time should be on July 5.

Well, it is always possible that they will start the anniversary event in the US, because that's where their biggest market is. The big event in Chicago also points to that idea - US focused. We'll see (hopefully).
