Charged TM fail stories
Was trying to get OH on a Flareon, still don't have it after 3 failed TM attempts. Feeling unlucky.
Anybody have it worse?

One reason I haven't used a single charge TM unless I am "ok" with what I get...Haven't used one on neither 93 or 95% Espeons with Psybeam and Psychic...Since both are still stab, I'm just holding out hope for move changes.
Only candidate I have is a 97% Lvl 17 RT/EQ Golem...but hesitant since I already have a Lvl 30 RT/SE Golem and TMs aren't dropping anymore...
My only use was on a 97% SW/HB Dragonite -> DT/O.
If I ever get Tyranitar, may need to use it assuming I get Fireblast.
Also Heat Wave Flareon - I had 2x100% both with same crappy E/HW, changed one so far and got OH, but would have been OK with anything... If I'm ever rich in charge TM's may go for the 2nd one. Still debating if worth switching Ember for FS just to have one 100% ideal Flareon, maxed to my level.... I feel need to keep at least 1 fast TM in case of IT/T-Tar or BP/Machamp
I am worried that I'm going to have to burn a lot on Machamps. I have 5 with Close Combat and only one with Dynamic Punch, and while CC is good, I really am going for that KC/DP set since I have a 93% Karate Chop at L20. I just rolled Close Combat on it this morning.
However, I generally only try to use charge TMs on guaranteed successes like Hyper Beam Dragonite, Fire Blast Tyranitar, Water Pulse/Heat Wave/Thunder Eeveelutions, Earthquake Golem or Snorlax, Heavy Slam Machamp.... etc.
My Machamp situation is very similar to yours and I can say that KC/Close Combat is really good (I also have one at level 30). The increased SE multiplier means that KC now deals actual damage (I always felt like it wasn't doing squat prior to the recent changes) and it charges energy a lot faster than Counter. However, I believe that it's only better than Counter if you're dodging. I find it much easier to play dodge all with Blissey/Lax with Karate Chop than with Counter and I also like KC in Tyranitar raids. I think my L20 will be an absolute monster if I can roll Dynamic Punch but I'm not going to power it up or spend further TMs on it until I have an excess of them.
