Scizor, the metallic insect?

I used TMs on my fully powered 95% double-Steel Scizor to get double Bug, and I don't regret it. Super fun to attack with, great against current and future Raid bosses/legendaries, and pretty badass to look at. I sure wasn't using the Steel moves against anything.

Is there no room for a double steel szicor (says he who´s got one) in the future? After all it´s ranked A in moveset.

I´ve got numerous others I´d rather use TMs on.

My 96% Scizor has Fury Cutter / Night Slash. I almost got rid of him with that move set.

But now I think I will use a Charge TM on him. If he gets X-Scissor I will keep him as a bug attacker. If he gets Iron Head I will use a Fast TM on him and have a steel insect. I'm not into wasting a lot of TM's trying to get the exact move set I want.

Since it resists Psychic a double bug moveset would do the job impeccably. Steel is effective against Fairy (OK, but there are also poison options), against Ground (water pokemon are better in this aspect) and Ice bu t most are Ice/Water so they negate this effect. Since STAB has decreased I would prefer the double bug version. Although Steel is resisted by few types such as Water, Steel,Fire and Electric Scizor due to double weakness to fire would be an attacker and not a defender.

Wait and evolve the 15/15/13 one (will have higher final CP), and maybe you'll get at least one bug type move and you'll need to one only one TM.

Because of his rock typing, double steel is effective against Tyranitar. Scizor is high DPS in raids.

I just evolved a second double bug Scizor. Then again I loaded up on candy when my local nest was Scyther.

Did someone say Scizor?

Related question: I have a BP/XS which is one of the 'A' attacking moves. Is FC/XS only marginally better or significantly better in the current meta?
