Adjusting to the new meta

So I see a lot of people running low on dust. As a casual L32 player with about 500k dust spared I realize there has to be some trade-offs regarding the near future. My goal is to solo most T3 raids and today I evolved some L28-30 mons to get a nice attack team. Here is what I got:

Lvl 28 Abra -> Alakazam C/FS (yes!)
Lvl 28 Macop -> Machamp BP/DP (yes DP!)
Lvl 29 Geodude -> Golem RT/RB (double rock!)
Lvl 28 Exeggute -> Exeggutor ES/P (well....)
Lvl 25 Rhyhorn -> Rhydon RS/MH (big sigh)
Lvl 28 Houndour -> Houndoom S/C (ok, I guess)

I intend to spend approx 200 k dust to get a lvl 20 Golem MS/EQ, a lvl 28 Rhydon MS/EQ, a lvl 30 Espeon C/PB, another Espeon (lvl 28, still an Eevee), a couple of high level Vaporeons WG/HP and the above mentioned mons to lvl 30. Together with a lvl 32.5 Tyranitar B/SE, a lvl 32.5 Tyranitar B/C, a lvl 32.5 Dragonite DT/O and 2 lvl 32.5 dragonite SW/HB (with two charge TMs) I hope to be able to solo some T3 raids.

Do you think it is possible?

Those Psychic mons will definitely give you a shot at Machamp

Just use the CP calculator on this site to get the dust cost for each one of them, see how much it'll cost you

I don't need the exact figure. Golem lvl 20 is 85 k dust, the rest between 10-20k dust/mon to reach lvl 30. Thing is, it's impossible for me to take high IV bosses from lvl 20 to 30 to max my team. This way I can raise 30-40 67-80% IV wild caught mons instead.

Don't intend to do 30-40, just enough to solo T3 and then slowly max the 100%-ers caught.

Wait...how in the world did you use two charge TMs and get HB?

Ok that makes sense. The way it reads it is like you've already spen them to get the worst moveset ?

I don't think you will make it.
My advice is to try to focus on the 1-2 easier lvl 3 and MAX the 6-10 mons you'll use for these raids.
Easier lvl 3 should be Machamp and Gengar, so I think you should max out:
- Rhydon MS/EQ (gengar)
- Alakazam C/FS (gengar and machamp)
- Espeon (gengar and machamp)
- Tyranitar B/C (the best for gengar)
- 2nd Tyranitar B/SE (charge not super effective, but high dps)
- Dragonite DT/O (not super effective but high dps)

Also Snorlax with L/HB works well against gengar.
Gengar with SC/SB (legacy moveset) is the best dps and is good for gengar raid.
Slowblo/Slowking have a good tank and with psychic moves are good for Machamp raids.

Anyway, I think lvl 32 is too low for soloing lvl 3 raids, but I'd be glad to be wrong (I'm lvl 35 and failed a couple of solo lvl3, but I'm missing damn Tyranitar)

Thx. You did read on reddit about the guy who soloed all T3 except Flareon and Jolteon with only lvl 30 mons?

Have you tried Slowbro on a solo mission? I thought that mons not mentioned as supreme or good counters will deal to little damage to be relevant in 180 secs.

No, did't read that, can you link it?
I have a 2200 slowbro, tried it on a machamp, but not solo!

Taking a mon from 30 to 35 costs 32K stardust and 64 candies. Taking a level 20 to 35 costs 137K dust and 130 candies. So its slightly less than 2 for one trade off. If you power up 5 level 20s from eggs/raids your looking at spending 685K dust vs with level 30s you can power up 10 mons!!!!

Im currently trying deepen my raid counters and plan on powering up 3 machamps, 3 RT/SE Gollems, Espeon FS, Alakazam FB, Scizor, Starmie and 2 wild caught level 30 Tyranitars(BSE,ITSE). For a total of 12 mons all of which are over 50% IVS. Instead of just picking 6 of those and using who knows how many TMs since most of my 30's have ideal movesets already.
I did power up a 2 TTar and 1 Dnite with 90%+ ivs to max level for me which is L37 so I do have my high IV stuff. Id just rather have all supreme counters and not be dust poor. Over a period of years the difference in the mons of a player who plays this way vs a players who is stuck in IVs will be drastic. One downside IV people always say is on occasion my low IV mons may die one or 2 hits early vs same IV same level although most likely they will be higher level anyways and last longer not shorter. Since I will have multiples my #2-6 will do way more damage as well.
