Bring back the Dust... Please!!!!

Disagree. The 5,000 daily dust reward was in addition to dust accumulated those other ways. So, to make it up, you'd have to catch an extra 50 mons per day, which is probably close to a dedicated hour of playing time, when you consider missed throws, replenishing pokeballs, etc.
As far as incubators go, if you are spending real money, sure, you can buy more incubators, and walk more, and make up the dust that way. But for free players like me, the number of eggs I can hatch is largely dependent on the number of free gym coins I can get, and that has been reduced along with the dust.
I am catching more mons now, especially evolved forms, in order to try to make up the lost dust rewards, but there is no doubt that I am accumulating dust more slowly than under the old system.
For us in Singapore, almost no legit players could hold 10 gyms every day. Mystic players could hold 5-6 gyms if they try to (but most get 3-4 only), other 2 teams could hold 3-4 gyms.
But even Instinct players could hold 10 gyms a day if they drive around at night as a group to bubblestrat and build Blissey walls (a very famous group of Instinct legit players used to do that almost every night in the north-east areas of Singapore).
That is an awesome gym.
I agree, the lack of dust is frustrating. Fortunately, I was very stingy with both coins and dust prior to the update, but I am still very reluctant to spend what I have saved, because they are so much harder to replenish. I hope there will start being occasional double stardust events, and the addition of other ways of accumulating dust.
Yes, dust is a real problem but the casual players don't care and nither do Niantic.
Casual players can catch lvl 20 pokemon fully evolved form and play on par with those of us who have been grinding since day one for 100 coins a pop. Those of use who refine movesets and look at IVs, those of use to go the extra mile
I actually disagree.
Could I use more dust! OH YES!!
But dust is the only real limiting factor in the game now with elite mons being readily available at raids. There needs to be an incentive to grind pokemon and dust is it. Hardcore players often complain about the new system giving casuals easily obtaining the firepower that they worked for months and months to get, but dust is what makes the difference. The hardcore players have it. The casuals do not.
