What is going on? Dratini candies...

What is going on in this game? After grinding Dratini candies for months and bare luck today I got 90 (!) candies and on top a Dragonite. First 1 Dratini hatched from an egg I got from a pokestop. Then I saw a Dragonite spawning right behind the graveyard. Cought it with 2400 CP. After that I did a walk beside the local river and cought 5 (!) Dratini within 2 hours, each with pinupberry. And to top that I hatched another egg with a Dratini. Then I cought a mareep. Just luck or did they increase Dratini spawns and eggs?

I noticed a lot more rare spawns yesterday and today. Caught a low CP bulbasaur yesterday, so I'm closer now to my Blastoise dex entry...

Also seen some Jigglypuffs and a few other pink pokemon. Not sure what the changes are, but I think spawn rates might have been adjusted.

Could be luck. Although I have experienced an increase in rare Pokemon in the wild, last 2 days I caught a wild Lapras, Rhydon, Electabuzz and a Bulbasaur and I'm not really an active player, plus these Pokemon basically never spawn in my usual biome. I just had the app open as I was walking.

It's not much evidence to go on, we could both just be lucky.

I caught 3 Snorlax in the last 2 days plus more 2nd stage evolutions. Idk what it is but no complaints here!!!!

Rarest thing I've caught recently was a Hitmonchan. But it's not even 15 IV in anything.

Dragonite was 95 % DT/Hurrycane. Catch of the year for me.

Ithink they increased spawns and decreased catch rate of raid bosses for balance reasons. It's much harder now to get a raidboss. Electabuzz fled after 10 premier balls and golden berries.

Congratz, the only dragon I've found so far, a month ago, was a Dratini but it's not really maxed in any stat. Just keeping it there until I find a better one.

I never tried soloing Electa, but I've lost a Quilava after 11 premier balls, and that was before the nerf. But I've heard they only lowered capture rate for the eevee trio and Lapras, Snorlax and one other L4 mon.
At least there are nests in most parks around here. There's an island that spawns 4 Bulbasaurs per hour. And then there's a Houndour nest in a park next to my house. I report these park nests from my house since I can see them as they change during the migration.

Here's a park with a tododile nest. There are lots of them, 10 or 15 at the same time. This nest migrates regularly, every 2 weeks. It was machop, G 1 starters, golduck, houndour...

Yeah they change every 2 weeks everywhere, but this park near me has soooo many clusters that anything that ends up there = a huge amount of candy and a chance to find something with high IV %. I'm still hoping for it to one day be an Eevee nest.

Haven't noticed anything on my end. Pidgeys, Swinubs, and Jynx all day here.
