Can Exeggutors solo raid Machamp?

Living in a grass biome I have been blessed with many good Exeggutors with psychic quick moves. Since Solar Beam has always been the charge move of choice I'm sure most of us that have spent dust on an offensive Exeggutor have that move. I guess the question is can a squad of level 30 psychic attack/Solar Beam Exeggutors solo a Machamp? I also wonder if the sheer power of Solar Beam makes up for the SE damage if you were running a Psychic charge move Exeggutor.

That should answer your question about sheer power, and if you are soloing a raid you dont have much time to dodge anyway.
About being possible, I have no idea. I have 4 2200+ CP eggys, 3 with C and 1 with ZH, and a few of them bellow 1800. I will try to solo a machamp as soon as one appear, and my team will be the 4 eggys + a WA/FB zard and a ZH/PB espeon because I have nothing better to use. I honestly think that 6 C/SoB lvl 30+ eggys can tank the machamp during the entire raid, but the sheer power of 2 kazam/espeon would be required to not time out.

Yeah, I've got a DT/H Dragonite that apparently works well and espeons and alakazams but those would take resources to power up. I could do espeon but no candies for the alakazam. I guess I'm just looking to see if there's a way to do this without spending resources.

The cooldown on Psychic is 2.8s vs 4.9s for Solarbeam.

So you can get in 2 ES's more with Psychic which is roughly 40dmg worth (including energy) which puts Psychic basically equally as effective as Solarbeam.

Huh? You can dodge specials and should versus Machamp.

I solo'd Machamp today using 2 Dragonites with DT/H, Exeggutor with C/P, Alakazham with C/FS, Dragonite with DT/DP. Beat it with 5 seconds left. Only tried dodging Dynamic Punch.

I have one DT/H Dragonite and good alakazams but no candy to power them up. Hence why I'm trying to see if Exeggutor can still do it. Congrats on soloing him! Would you mind telling the level of the mons you used?

Dragonites 34.5, Exeggutor 37.5, Alakazham 30. Dragonites lasted the longest and did the most damage but Exeggutor did pretty well too. Alakazham died very fast because I missed a dodge on Dynamic Punch. I think 3 Exeggutors with E/P or C/P have a good shot at taking down Machamp but you'll have to dodge the charge moves.

I have used my Dragonite for every raid and it seems like he lasts the longest and does the most damage. Yet, he's rarely mentioned when talking about countering raid bosses. Dragonite is still king!
