Should I just transfer my great defenders now?

This gym rework thing is a joke. Well, the part about getting coins ONLY when you get kicked out. You should get coins per 10 minutes, and that's it. The longer you stay there = more coins.

Yeah, punish me for putting good defenders in the gym.

Blissey - 2 days 5 hours = ZERO COINS
Snorlax - 1 day 5:55 hrs = ZERO COINS
Lapras - 1 day 3:22 hrs = ZERO COINS
Espeon - 15 hrs = ZERO COINS

I started the day with 82 coins. I'm at 86 now.

LMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAO!!!!!!

But then when I put trash Pokemon, they get the boot real quick.

Your big defenders took a lot of resources to build up, I bet. I also think that the gym meta will change again, and they will be needed. Anyway, they are very good in one dimension (tough and dish out a steady stream of moderate damage). I'm hanging on to mine.

Yes, it took me a while to get my Blissey where it is. Yes, it took me a LOOOONG time to get my legacy ZH/BS Snorlax where he is. From 800-ish CP 2900-ish CP. I was sarcastically asking the question. The current gym scene is unbelievable. sigh

No! You're not serious, right? I know you're not, of course... totally get it.

Actually, people around here have started putting good defenders in the gyms again as the main rival team has been very reliable in taking down our gyms. We're returning the favor, so all is well ;)

I'm sure Niantic will have to make some major changes to the current system.

My noctowls, xatus en hoothoots, pidgeys etc bring more gold than any good defender, just put them in in the evening, 50 gold in the morning and then i transfer them
