RS/EQ Rhydon as Tyranitar counter

I wonder why RS/EQ Rhydon is not listed as Tyranitar counter.
Rock Smash is double SE, Earthquake is SE, while Rhydon is resistant to Fire Blast and Stone Edge, neutral to dark moves and only sensitive to Iron Tail.

Because others are so much better. Which specific counter do you prefer him too?

I'm pretty sure rock doesn't actually resist rock. I've used it before, but I'd say it's third behind Machamp and Vaporeon.

i have one maxed out to my level, 31,5 and it did very well, i think the problem is that he is slower than the others and time is an issue.
