Just need a bit of advice here:
72% IV, 689 CP Dratini
93% IV, 482 CP Dratini
Evolve either or focus resources on:
80% IV, 2499 CP Dragonite (SW/HB)- I currently have a Fast TM and can wait for Charge TM
All my candies have been acquired from hatches, as Dratini candies are somewhat rare in my area. Only have one DT/O DNite 91%/3373 CP currently. I've got other attackers but debating on urgency of second DNite in current system. Suggestions much appreciated.
I had a similar quandary the other day, except didn't have a 3k nite.
i had a 2600 db/dc
400+ dt/h
115 candies and a couple of decent dratini's
i powered up the db/dc to max
for you, i would test the waters with the 93%, hoping to get a reasonable moveset - with at least one of the moves you don't have to change. (although TM's may be easier to come by than dratini candies)
second option would be to power up the sw/hb.
power up the 72% would be last, imo.
Recommend holding off on evolving and investing in your dragons. That's a lot of resources to spend on the 93% dratini when there's still a chance it could not be optimal immediately. I personally wouldn't spend resources on the 80% dragonite. I do not believe there's a high level of urgency to get your second dragonite because the update is still new, things will change. Dragonite provides fire power for raids but it's better to be going for pokes that can take more of an advantage in SE hits and more so in 4x weaknesses. You're better off catching high level pokes, evolving, and hoping for optimal move sets. I consider stardust to be very valuable, especially taking pokes beyond lvl 30. When needing more fire power for raids, almost just better getting another person. Recommend waiting it out past the anniversary event next month.
That makes sense. I have other high level attackers, but was on the fence regarding my Dnite since I only have one that I currently use for raiding. It is indeed a lot of resources to spend on my 93% Dratini and I can afford to be patient for now. I'll just keep walking for now and acquiring candies until things settle. Thanks for the reply.
