TM on Jolteon?

I have a 100% Jolteon with Thunder Shock / Discharge. Should I use Charge TMs on it for Thunderbolt?

Tm too rare to use on Jolteon

Maybe try it first. I have that exact mon powered to 36.5 and I love using him. Especially in raids, you constantly use discharge.

Yea I love discharge too, I honestly don't think TS can really be much better. I think my discharge one takes out Gyradose quicker then my TS one.

Remember how desperate you were to find evolution items? But if your situation is like most people, you are probably now at the point where you have more evolution jtems than pokemon you can evolve with them.

Eventually you will have enough TMs for all your good mons. It is just a matter of time. Start with whatever you want. If you do not have a good Jolteon powered up yet, and you really want Thunderbolt, then go for it.

I will say that Discharge is really close behind Thunderbolt, plus the new meta with attacking enemy gyms favors multi-bar charge moves. As defenders lose motivation then smaller charge moves become better.

Isn't there also the possibility for Niantic to make TMs way more rare than it currently is on the BETA testing?

Sure there is, but if they'll do that I'll just quit, because disparity will be too high compared to those who got lucky to have time at very beginning. But if I'll collect more TMs/ttars than I need I guess I'll quit as well :D

If you're using it for attacking, don't bother because there are better mons to use it on.

If you're using it for defense, don't bother because you're better off using a fast tm to get volt switch because that'll make a bigger difference and Discharge is already decent.

So basically, don't.

Exactly what I did. Got myself my 2nd Defensive Jolteon with TMs. Already had a another one currently at 2495 CP (13/15/15) that evolved into that moveset.
