Successful Tyranitar Raids?

Today I had my first Tyranitar Raid and I caught it with the fourth ball and a golden raspberry. I cannot believe how easy it was to get my second Tyranitar! (The moveset ist s***, but who cares nowadays?)

What about you guys? Could you already catch a Tyranitar in a Raid?

Have done two 4 star raides and both were a tyranitar. Can't say it gives the same satisfaction as it would have when I would have managed to evolve it in a normal way unfortanetely.

That's true though. Still, it's a Tyranitar, and only 2 of our 8 member group could catch it (me being one of them).

Did you catch both Tyranitars?

I was able to catch both of then fairly easily. I was surprised how many players failed on the other hand. Perhaps all the practicing on those excellent throws finally payed off

We had 9 players and out of the 9, only 4 of use including me were able to catch the beast! I don't feel like the Raid takes away the shock and awe factor of getting a new Pokemon. I had/have bad luck with RNG since game release so for me to get a Tyranitar was love. I just now got an Aerodactyl due to the Rock event and I'm lvl 32.

Yeah, got my first T-tar yesterday, having caught/hatched not even a single Larvitar. I am happy about it but as Sebhes suggests, it feels a bit like I cheated. Mine got 71% IV's, IT/SE.

The question now is, when do I start walking him? I might wait and get more Machop candies to power up my 100% champ first...

Why walk? Just use rare candies.

Have done one Tyranitar raids.
6 people and we use fightning type and water type.
91% IV with IT/SE the same IV and moveset on my first Tyranitar.

My Tier-4 raid boss captures so far (except Vape, Tier 3):

It is day 4 (or 5??) of the raid rollout.

Which move (Iron Tail, Fire Blast) do you think is more important to reroll?

When the time comes that I can spare TMs on this Tyranitar, I will change both moves (first being Iron Tail probably), since I would end up with either Bite/Crunch or Bite/SE, which I would be happy with both. On the other hand, it is likely that I have caught a better Tyranitar until then.

Beat a Tyranitar with 7 people.
Got 11 balls for it, used golden raspberries... couldn't catch it. My phone was burning hot and lagging during throws, at least that's my excuse

For me:
4 Tyranitar raid battles completed. Caught 2 and missed the other 2. Have done with 6-trainer group.

Congrats! No level 4 raid for me yet.

At least they don't make them super easy to catch, I must say.

Thanks. Yep, difficult to catch. Besides, the two i caught both have iv like 12-12-11, just at "caught my attention " level.

The only 4 star raids I've seen seen blastoise (didn't battle) snorlax (it was a miracle that I beat and caught it) and lapras (got destroyed by ice beam).
