Raid Bosses destroy exclusivity

At first I really enjoyed the chance to get tons of good IV mons through raid bosses..
But now, as I think about it..

You know it almost took me 1 year to get a good IV machamp. It took me about 10 months to get a single muk. I guess about 8months for enough Abra candies to evolve Alakazam.. I don't know why, but only got bad IV exegguters (waiting with over 600candies for a good one to push).. ah ya and never mind Lapras..

Now any rich guy can buy tons of raid passes, go to a those gyms.. maybe check online for support in beat the boss..
And get all those mons on a single day. With great IVs.

Honestly? I feel cheated by niantic. Real bummer and considered to quit..
Anyone feels the same? Anyone?

One of the many aspects which are destroying the game faster than any greedy niantic goblin (maybe not).

The game is completely dead for me. I have hatched 3 larvitars and ran so many km's with him. Now at 200 candys I could evolve and get some use out of him. But I dont even care about the dex entry anymore. There is no excitement anymore with other people colleting Tyrannitars like no tomorrow.

I have ONE single blissey. Can you believe that? Even though I was incubating many eggs, I only had 3 chanseys! So last week I finally had my freaking first blissey and powered it up. Guess what, its freaking useless in this gym scene :D

Damn, Niantic screwed so many things up, I need to stop right here or else Im not done by the end of the day.

Since all incubators I had are in-game earned (not payed for) I hatched only 300eggs.

None of them a chancey ;)
I don't have a chancey. I don't have a blissey.
But maybe a blissey boss with perfect IVs is coming, so everyone can have tons of Blisseys.

Yay.Not.

A perfect blissy boss will need morr than 20 level 40 players to beat, I'm afraid.

Depends on how high they set the CPs.
I'm afraid of a 3k Blissey Raid Boss, since this would destroy the whole system xD

Although you got a point there, this is not the first time that rare Pokemon suddenly became easy to find. It took me months to get my first Lapras, and then the Fire/Ice-event came around an gave me 6 Lapras (not to mention the tons of fire starters)..

Ya, but this raid thing is a permanent game feature..makes it even worse.
Those other events made me at least go out and hunt. Thought this was a great thing.

You had to work for it before.
Now go buy a raid pass join a group of 10 . pick any 6 mon you want.
There... Your lapras

i quit already no competitiveness anymore ill wait till the next update. I have walked how many KM just to get Larvitar candies and about a month i evolved him and ended up got B/FB. Now that TM is involved which is great but also lost the competitiveness or grinding

Honestly I've complained enough on this forum lol I'm gonna sit it out, do the least possible effort for the most amount of profits (only a fraction of what we made in the golden age lol)

Same here mate!
I've walked thousand kilometers for chansey, dratini, larvitar.
But what?, now people so easy to get tyra lapras and snorlax

I guess we need breeding to bring the fun back!

I think all they need to add is the ability to buy 100%, fully powered up mons for 200 coins and then the change will be complete. Bad, but it will be complete.

I disagree with you...many players who lives in rural area now have a chance to get good pokémon. Many places doesn't have a lot of pokestops/gyms, dismotivating this players. Now they can capture good pokémon and could come back to play.
I agree about your condition to walk many km everyday...I did the same, but I never hatch a single Snorlax/Larvitar during my adventure and it was very frustating. Now I can get my TTar and walk to power up him :D
The new gym's system comes to give a chance to all players have a place in a gym...many players with "Fake GPS" dominated many gyms with their Blissey and it was impossible to remove them for there. Many gym had 10 Blissey with CP 2800+. It doesn't work. I didn't like about the Pokémon needs to return for get coins, because you could have no coins during 2-3 days. Maybe they can put it back an icon to reclaim coins, as before.

Since I play 10 days less a year and I didn't managed it to get a muk since 7 weeks ago..
Now I have 3 muks. 2 of those catched as a raid boss.

Earlyer today I found a wild grimer.. what was always exciting and for sure a pineapple berry..
Now I just thought "well a grimer.. I can get easily a muk, don't waste that pinapp for"

This effect should apply to everyone.. also to rurals (I am rural too - 2 stops, 1gym on screen when sit in my bed)

I was waiting to evolve Grimer, I have finally enough candy (56) but it is "above average". Now I will wait for a raid in my reach and then use the candy on that. So, use that pinap to power up the Muk.

Rurals still get everything much slower. Going to a city is like paradise. You just have all biomes within a few km from each other and now also just pick your raid boss of choice.

I wish Niantic would place very rare Pokémon at mysterious isolated places well outside population centers for a few days (weekend) and give hints about which landscape/cultural features they may hide at which time. With spawns only lasting for an hour.

They do. Unfortunately you need a scanner that violates the ToS to find them because they're on private roads and lots. If you have one in your area you would be astonished to see all the good stuff you're missing out on!

At least that's what I've found. Seriously a Dragonite a day within a few mile radius. Today's was in a gated community. Someone I know got the little thing. It was 400 CP and an easy Pinap

Well that is fun, but I did use a web-based scanner some months ago to try to find spawn spots for different types and rare ones. I only found more "plant" biomes that way. Of course it was not continuously alerting me so if anything rare happened I wasn't scanning...

I agree. With the exception of Legendary releases, I'd be pleased if they removed the catch component. Random TMs are valuable enough to be the reward. Niantic would make less money, but the game would retain some semblance of its meaning without the sweeping influx of easy-to-get monsters that has basically invalidated all the work I did to build my Pokedex.

Niantic should make a poll sorted by level/city/rural and ask if they think the different aspects of the current game setup is:
too easy / too hard / exactly right.

Does it really matter though? Someone else having a bunch of great Tyrannitars (while I have none) really doesn't affect me. At least not in the current gym system.
