Relation between IV and CP question

Well I thought that how higher the IV how higher the CP, with a little difference between the attack / Defence / HP stats that could change that.

I had a few Gyrados that with the update I incvest al my dust in it (for the topspots of Gyms during this event).

I'm level 30 and power them up till I can't power them up anymore and something strange was happened.

Gyrados 88.9% IV 15/11/14 (Bite-Dragon pulse) Gyrados 95.6% IV 15/14/14 (Dragon breath - Twister)

You would think that the 95% Gyrados will then have the highest CP, well it didn't

88.9% = 2848 CP
95.6% = 2845 CP

Okay it's not a big difference, but don't understand why the 88.9 got more CP than the 95% the attack and HP stats are the same but the 95% have better Defence?

I checked it out with pgnexus en pogobag (same result) so I'm sure about the data.

Could er be an exterieur factor for the CP?

lvl 31,5 and lvl 31 (no candy / dust for next lvl up) i think

Had the candy for another Gyarados, but with the update I give the coice for full power them up for Gymspots.

So candies enough and yet still 200k stardust remaining after power everything up.

100% sure that I power them up to the same max level, and 100% sure of the IVs

can you put also the HP, so others can double check the numbers on some other iv calculators?

Using the IV calculator from here, it says exactly as Morpheus said, 2848 one level 31.5, the other one level 31.

Very strange... because I wanted to full max it out. And thought i really dit that... I was pretty shore of it, because I wanted to put my mons in the top of the Gyms here.

Can not prove it, because both Gyarados are in a Gym and the power button is then for both not acceptable.

If I'm wrong, I apologize. But honestly can't imagine that I will be so negligence

I get this image from a third party site. https://pogobag.me/

Pretty safe, use it for months

If both Gyarados had the same lvl, both should have the same HP because they have the same stamina, shouldn't they?

"and power them up till I can't power them up anymore" - this means they have the same level, 31.5

Please post in-game screenshots of both.

I made a mistake -> my Epic Gyrados is level 30,5. Sorry.

Your issue can probably be explained with attack IV having higher impact on CP than others.

The attack Iv have more influence in the cp than another ivs.

Everybody knows that, the problem is that in this case it seems that their attack IV is the same which would indicate that either the IV's have been calculated wrong or that the Pokémon are actually different levels.
