Stop raid notifications

Is there a way to stop these notifications? I am in an area where many raids take place. Up to 10 raids in 17 gyms at the same time. Everytime I open the app it takes some minutes till I can play because of the incoming notifications. The game lags during this time and is unplayable. These notifications are useless because I have done one raid a day already. This sucks. I don't want to see them anymore and would like to turn them off..

Must be nice, I've not even seen a raid yet.

I live in a city with 200.000 inhabitants and around 80 gyms. I see all the raids and can't take place because of only 1 given free raidpass a day. Coins are rare since gym rework. No fun, believe me.

I could spend 20 € a day for raids, but I am not mad.

World is a weird place , some people have none some have too much
Solution : in setting there is a push notifications this should do the trick

No, it only works for notifikations of your returned mons.
If I turn off push notifcations in phone settings I don't get any, also from important other things. Didn't find a solution yet.

I see , hope someone else have a solution
