This system is just awful at the moment...
Your Pokémon is stuck in a Gym and nobody wants to attack it cause you don't want to give the enemy team coins... Put my 100% Charizard in and this gym is not attacked since 2 days and I can't even Change the attacks now...

You lucky guy. Today all my 10 mons came back at once which lasted 2 days in gyms. Got 50 coins. The old system would have given 200 within 2 days.
What an awful rewarding system.

Why lucky? All gyms here are stagnant now, nobody wants to attack in order to reward the enemy team...

There is a small chance for you getting coins for your 1 mon. My 10 mons returned with nothing today. Only 50 coins one mon could have earned alone.

So, both of you are disadvantaged at the current state of tweaking.

In my case, village Crobat returned today, surprisingly somebody attacked the gym and did not place in a new team. I suspect one of the two players who entered the gym yesterday just used a second account of opposite color to get coins.

Update: my Slowking in a town gym came back, but unfortunately same day as the other one, slavery!

Out of 6 mons, only 1 returned (Donphan... which I didn't really need in a team). I really wish I could recall them or that they'd get sent back somehow. Maybe giving coins to the attackers too would be a good idea.
