why dragonites cp drops so fast?

My team have 5 pokemons at the gym but for some reason dragonites cp drops very fast, why?????
Im 100% positive nobody attacked the gym.

Note: Dragonite had highest cp in the gym, so it makes me wonder.
Does game reduce highest cp pokemons motivation faster than any other?????

Mons over 3000 cp loose 10% per hour compared to 1% for others. At least it was so yesterday

You have allot to catch up on.

Pokémon over 3000CP are punished by having their motivation drop faster.

Raids are only active from 9am to 9pm local time

Raid passes are acquired by spinning gym stops and limited to 1 a day, this resets at midnight local time.

Players can only hold 1 free raid pass in their bag at a time. This does not affect premium raid passes.

There are more but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Yep I put my 3110 CP Tyranitar in the first night and he was at 600 the next morning powered him back to 2000 and now he is down to 300. Nobody will attack the gym so I can get him out. Over 3000cp mons are not worth it.

OTOH, a mon with mostly empty motivation meter or ridiculously low CP for its species may be an invitation to attack...

True but everyone is too busy doing raids so those of us who put our best mons in gyms the defend themselves will never get them back. Now that TMS are in the wild, all high CP defenders can become raid attackers
