Errored out of raid - spent pass, couldn't raid!

GPS bug. It transferred you outside the gym radius.

It was happening to a guy next to me. I don't think it is the GPS thing. I was having GPS issues real bad yesterday, but I don't think that was the case for him. I could be wrong, but I think it is something else. Hopefully it will get cleared up soon...

My app crashed right after I submitted the gym pass, while choosing my team, just closed down completely with no error message. I reopened the app and was able to start over again without being asked for a new pass.

Same thing happened to my son, he got an error and his count down clock was like 20 seconds or so. I logged him into my phone and he had no problems, so we deduced it wasn't an app error. After a quick google search: go into settings (android), click "date and time", and check if your "automatic date and time, Use network provided time" is on. His wasn't. We turned it on and restarted Pokemon Go. He was now able to join in raids with no errors. Hope this helps and good luck :)

I had the same problem. I switched my time zone to another (from +3 to +2), and raids started work for me. Just lost one pass befor I find the answer...

Make sure your date and time is set correctly on your device. You will get lots of errors if they are out of sync
