What's your opinion?

I got a quick move TM and have 3 candidates. Snorlax Lick/BS, Golem MS/SE, or Lapras WG/B. I want ZH, RT, or any Ice move for Lapras.

Just my opinion but I would do the Lapras. Defenders no longer really matter in most areas. Hell you need someone to take you down and whatever you throw in there will earn or not depending on most areas tbh.

So I would do the Lapras. Top tier attacker for a lv 4 Raid boss. A rock move Golem may have some uses in the future but a Lapras and their candies are much harder to get in almost any biome.

Edit to add: That Lapras would be a decent defender in the new system too.

Yes I have 2 already (fb/b&is/ib) around 2300cp and the one I am talking about is 1900 all IV'S 84-91. With 26 candies, but no 2xrock Golem and have 3 L/BS Snorlax. I really can't do too badly I guess. Thanks.

If you already have 2 double ice Lapras then it's not needed. I'd do golem in your case. Def agree that defending movesets don't matter.

If you ever plan on attacking a raid boss Dragonite you sure the hell need more than 2.

I need fast move tm for my 100% golem too so I vote for golem :)

I am looking for some kind of guide as to which movesets are possible to recieve. I know I saw it somewhere but there is so much new information I can't keep up with it all.

I used my charged tm for butterfree 100% today and I changed signal beam for bug buzz (bug bite/bug buzz now). I think you can get every move your pokemon can have after evolving (ofc not legacy move). And i think it is random, I couldn't choose which move to learn or something like that.

btw I have only 2x 100% iv butterfrees and golem so I decided to use tms on them :)

I wasn't sure with Legacy moves how it worked but I found a link. https://pokemongohub.net/gym-raid-update/
Basically I'm assured of any of the 3 I wanted. ZH is so much better than Lick defensively and none of my 6 have it.

attack>defense imo, I would go for the attacker first. You can use snorlax for attacking too but i prefer my gyarados or golem for this job. 3-4 lvl raids aren't easy and dps rly matters. Your choice. :)

Golem will be a good rock attacker against flying types.

The main use for a third Lapras would be if you stumble upon a raid with a Dragonite.

Snorlax would be nice to eventually switch, but shouldn't be a higher priority with the new gym system.
