Level 37 and a half, looking for them since the gyms opened, not a single one in my area, got a pass this morning after spinning around 5 gyms, town with 8 gyms. I am seeing in a FB group that on a larger city area some raids are happening in big commercial centers, 3 of them reported since the starting of the rework, but the city is aprox 30km away from me...
As for now it seems a huge advantage for big city players...Will see when I get the first raid here...Probably once a month? Only Niantic knows, one thig is for sure, they may have worked hard for this, but won't make me put any money on the game, why would I buy a premium raid pass if there are no raids lol
Raids are at ATT and Starbucks with gyms. I drove through a retail area at lunch with several Starbucks and a ATT store. Under the new Raid tab in nearby, the raid showed up. It was counting with 3 minutes to go, so I thought I was going to miss it. It was actually the countdown to the egg hatching. A live raid says on going. It probably only took about five minutes.
When you enter the gym, you have two minutes to set your line up and have others joined you. My boss was alkazam. I missed on my own the first time. Two of us went a second time and we took him down.
I went through all 6 mons and I was able to re-enter and finish the battle with a fresh six within the 2 minute fight time.
I earned 8 premium balls but I nailed him on the second using razz berries. I got focus blast wonder. Also, earned one TM and six candies. Guessing he was level 4 but not sure. Took me more time to park and enter the mall than the ten minutes to set lineups and do two battles.
Doing once a day is about right for me. I got the raid pass during my first ponestop this morning.
