Its Blissey.

Your data may be off as you don't know if rivals attacked the gym and lowered Snorlax CP over the course of that time or if an ally cane and gave the Snorlax a berry.

No silly. He means which mons looses motivation and combat power most slowly.

I haven't figured I'd out yet. Ill wait on silph road to post some science. All I know is a 14's Pinsir lost zero motivation when my 27's Dragonite killed it. Unless it was lagging and not displaying the proper deduction.

My 3000K defenders (Snorlax, dragonite, blissey) were loosing 1CP every 30 seconds.

So the highest cp drops at the lowest rate? Meaning it decays the slowest and will stay in a gym the longest.

At a rate of 2 per min a 3000 cp mon would lose 400 cp in 200 mins vs a 1000 cp mon losing the same amount in the same time. If the rate of decrease was proportional then all mons need equal maintenance regardless of CP but if its constant CP rate of decrease then IV/Cp are still positive traits.

Are you sure someone didn't chip at it a little? My ursaring I had in at 2294 CP would've only dropped by a few hundred points in the nine hours it's been there. I did feed it two berries though, it's currently sitting at 2234, so maybe motivation loss accelerates at a certain rate over time, and the snowball effect cancels when it gets feed?

I'm wondering whether pokemon with over 3000 CP have extra fast decay. I put a 3001 CP vaporeon in a gym, and saw it ticking down 1 CP every few seconds. It might have been as long as 30 seconds apart, but it felt like less. It was ridiculous.
