Will changes help ZH/DG Blissey?
Looking at the changes and how it will affect the strongest defender in the game, the Zen Headbutt/Dazzling Gleam Blissey.
It seems that this beast will get even stronger...
Let's look at it's four most common attackers:
Machamp: A small gain for Blissey.
Machamps fighting into Blissey was 1.56x before for SE and STAB. Now, it will be 1.68x - 8% more damage.
Blissey's SE into Machamp was 1.25, now it's 1.4, or 12% more damage.
So, Blissey gets a bigger damage bonus from the change than Machamp. It will be a shorter fight, but Blissey more damaging to Machamp, who barely had enough HP to pull it off before. Dodging quick moves may be appropriate.
Dragonite/Tyranitar: A big and clear gain for Blissey. The SE damage from Dazzling Gleam will hit them a lot harder than it did before (1.4 vs 1.25, a 12% gain), while Dragonite and Tyranitar's STAB damage has been weakened (1.25 vs 1.2, a 4% loss).
Flareon: Clear gain for Flareon. The major reason to use Flareon is that it resists Dazzling Gleam, and that resistance has just gotten stronger with no corresponding gain for Blissey. But, Flareon was always the second-tier attacker into Blissey. Now, it might be a first-tier.

You are missing that Tyranitar's resistance from Psychic (ZH) has turned into a full blown immunity. And his general resistance of the Normal moves (I know that is kind of off topic here) have also increased. I'm not sure Tyranitar lost much in the scheme of ZH/DG ( I know he definitely lost some) and I'm positive he gained on all other variations with exception of P/ZH maybe being a draw or a smaller loss. No way he lost as much as Dragomite.
Here you go. It's a crude one that a kind fellow named AlphaNathan put together on TSR.
GREEN PLUS SIGN: Super-effective is now x1.4 multiplier (from x1.25).
RED MINUS SIGN: Resistance (not very effective) is now a x0.714 multiplier (from x0.8).
BLACK X: "Immunity" is a new resistance which is x0.51 (previously the same as not very effective at x0.8).
Thanks...never played the video games (just card games and immunities weren't really a thing there)...
So from looking at immunities, I see that:
Normal is immune to Ghost
Fairy is immune to Dragon
Flying is immune to Ground
Ground is immune to Electric
Ghost is immune to Fighting AND Normal
Steel is immune to Poison
Dark is immune to Psychic
That's it?
Yeah. I've been staring at this thing for hors now trying to find movesets and angles for current attackers and defenders. A lot of them like Gengar for example has great immunities...fighting and normal. But he also has a normal resistance to fighting moves through poison type. Now, none of his moves are SE against Machamp I think but his ghost moves and poison moves are STAB based and high DPS. I need to fact check such things but I'm thinking that Gengar may finally have a substantial use as a raid attacker into Machamp. But we will see I guess.
A lot of combos lead to dead ends where the attacker is immune but his moves are also resisted. Anyway about 10 minutes before I really figure out an angle to this all someone will drop an article or the fight parameters will change.
