Machamp 93.3%

In my oppinion, moveset is way more important than IVs.

But here, the problem is different: Machamp has no good moveset at all. Karate Chop ist really weak, Stone Edge seems to be ok, but misses stab.
I have got a Machamp with Karate Chop, its a funny animation, but it is simply to weak, there is only little damage done to snorlax, his want-to-be-victem. I don't use this guy.

I think, he is not really worth powering up. I suggest, you go out and look for a gym to test him for yourself, if not convinced.

i dont think is worth, because Machamp's quick move is not that good and only his Cross Chop makes real difference, is strong pokemon, but lackluster. It's a waste of stardust with this move set =/

I use a Rhydon with the quick move Rock Smash for fighting Snorlax/normal types now. Machamp is weak to psychic and Snorlax usually has zen headbutt. If you're using Rhydon, just beware of Snorlax with Earthquake.

Pinsir with Rock Smash/X-scissor are also quite good at fighting normals.

Machamp with KC/CC is going to be great against one of the best of Generation 2, Tyranitar (doubly weak to fighting).

Have you all actually tried tried machamp? I have. It's not nearly as bad as people say, it's pretty good. I have a 2400ish with KC/SE. I think people read it sucks and never try it themselves. I used it to prestige lapras even before it was buffed.

It may not be the absolute best but it's not nearly the shit ball that people make him out to be. Plus he looks completely bad ass! I love seeing him in my line up.
