Gym Defending Pokemons

With all the heavy discussions of the gym rework, how come no one is speculating that it's possible defending Pokemons might also receive a change and defend with various new patterns instead of the norm from before?

Wouldn't it be great if diff mons have diff defending attack patterns?

If they dodged like they dodge pokeballs, that's probably going to raise the difficulty.

I am just happy because I don't have to reduce my att team to jolts vapes and lapras anymore.

Yep. With all the crap mons folks are planing on putting in gyms now two mons at most should do the trick. Especially with attackers getting a further advantage as far as we know
