I thought I read that anyone can join fighting in a raid boss - just show up and start battling when the timer goes. Doesn't matter what team you are - everyone works together to defeat the boss. Can anyone confirm?

As for seeing the raids/notifications I think half the battle Niantic wants you to get through is going to all these locations/gyms to see when/if there is a raid and when the egg will hatch.

Lol yeah constantly driving circles around stops.

Is that Pokegym finder a purchasable stock? 95% of folks will use it or not bother with raids.

My hope is that these gym badges for specific gyms will notify you. I think that will likely be the case at some point.

As far as I know the tier of raids is the issue ( some you can achieve as solo some won't be possible ad the boss will be so difficult )

The problem is the nearest gym for me is 3+ km I can't just drop by to check it out daily

Not intending to be a downer but... How will this stop 20 people raiding a gym when there is actually only 2 ppl at the gym...
