Why no new CP for Lapras?
Lapras seems to be the only mon excluded from the CP update. Does anyone know why?
Since it's a generalist in the main series (evenly spread values for attack/special attack, defense/special defense) and somewhat slow, I guess it would have lost a lot of CP... probably more than 10%?
Has anyone calculated it's values under the new formula?

Wrong.
Lapras' new attack should be 167 and it's defence should be 182.

It's old/current attack and defence are 186 and 190 respectively, so the new attack has been reduced by about 10%(167 / 186 = 0.8978) while it's defence has been reduced by about 4% (182 / 190 = 0.9579)
With the CP formula being the same, this should result in a ~12% decrease in CP.
(167 / 186) x (182 / 190)^0.5 = 0.8787
Well, consider that it would be a serious nerf to Lapras.. There might be different reasons but in my opinion because Lapras has always been a top tier and drop his CP from 2980 to 2603 would completely change the meta... Also there is still the Lapras event in Japan and players that traveled there for the event would find themselves with a lot of rare but not-that-useful-anymore pokemons.
They may still nerf him in the next regulation or releasing gen 2
Yeah I'm sure Laprases and Arcanines are about as useful as Arboks now because they lost about 10% of their CP. /s
Laprases are still useful because of their moveset, typing, and high stamina, none of which have been changed.
The new base stat calculations saw larger increases than decreases. Chansey's CP has more than doubled, while the largest negative change in CP had around a 30% reduction at most.
