Aurora Beam
Just evolved a Cloyster IS/AB, i notice that aurora beam is in every way inferior to avalanche (it does less damage, it has longer cooldown, it has a later dodgewindow, both are 2 bar moves)
Why does Niantic makes 2 moves of same type off which one is superior to the other?
Should i keep this cloyster for possible later move update?
Are there other examples of moves of same type of equal bars that are in every way superior/inferior?

Thunderbolt - Wild Charge
Brick Break - Low Sweep
Submission - Dynamic Punch
Overheat - Fireblast
Ice Beam - Aurora beam
Psychic - Future sight
Rock Slide - Rock Thomb
Zen headbutt - extrasensory
And probably a few more. But not many of this moves are both accessable for the same pokemon, maybe the reason is to make a different power level for them. There are also a lot of moves that deal sligthly less damage but are also slightly faster.
I should keep it, moveset can change, or not if you have enough candy and candidates for evolving.
Brick Break - Low Sweep
Overheat - FireblastRock
Slide - Rock Thomb
are good examples of unbalanced charge moves, on the others the cool down is higher or dodge window is later on the higher damage move.
But i will keep my cloyster for now, i notice cloyster takes up lots of places on my pokemon stack because it has only moves of its own typing (water/ice).
