I have NO BALLS!!!

This event should be called "We are taking your balls...all of em...especially your Ultras".

Just keep that in context and everything will be ok.

I had a 59CP Charmander break out of pinap+ultra+great throws twice this afternoon. I just walked away from him after that.

Seriously though. I've never been this consistently low on balls since I've upgraded my bag

Yeah, I'm lucky I had 150 ultra and great balls each. After this event I am never catching a Cyndaquil again...

I feel your pain. I live in a big city i gona take a bus in the heavy traffic(a lot of bus stops and traffic lighs) and spin a lot of pokestops until my bag is full. It always works for me.

To see my bag every day would probably give some of you a heart attack. Not enough stops to justify upgrading my bag every, so I'm still at 350. My ball supply usually fluctuates between 20-60. Just a way of life in a small town.

Usually, a spin at pokestops will usually yield at least 2 balls. During this period, one ball or zero is the norm.

My hats off to all the rural player who have limited poke stops. I don't know how you do it.
I'm fortunate to have a constant supply of pokestops, and when supplies get low, I just take a lap around town on my bicycle.

I play in areas where poke balls are easier to get than things to throw them at, and vise-versa. I adapt what I throw at accordingly to control the ratio of supply to expenditure. When I am in conserve mode, I skip mid-CP mon, use rare balls for mon that have high CP and might evolve into something useful. Otherwise, I just farm the low CP mon I encounter. In non-conserve mode, I throw at everything, and sometimes get lucky.

It doesn't make any sense. Dratini and Larvitar are much more rare than the starters yet are significantly easier to catch. This is further backed up by the main-series games. In the games, all pseudo-legendaries except the Beldum line have a catch rate of 45 (the exact same as the starters).

So either they should make starters easier to catch, Dratini and Larvitar harder to catch, or swap their catch rates to fit their rarity.

it's not just the starters though, it's swinubs, high level growliths, sneazel,
the only things easy to catch are pony, shellder and seel.

I've been throwing berries on swinub but everything under 350 gets a pokeball. Minimal Breakouts. I want the damn gold ice medal. I might get it. I've tripled my count since the event started. And I'm very pleasantly surprised with Sneasel. 5-10 a day was the most unexpected piece of this event. I'm close to the dark medal too.
