so i figured id try out insence and see if its giving ice and fire type spawns aswell. it works! caught multiple fire types, felt like i should share it with you guys.
I can only catch mon at my house when I use incense, and usually get the typical rattate, pidgey etc. But since the last special event, I have gotten a lot of event mon (during that time)! About 4 out of the 6 mon I normally get from incense at the house.
The last batch included sneasel, piloswine (CP 1264, good prestiger), shellder and charmander (plus krabby and rattata).
Definitely worth it!
I'm guilty of running incense during special events when I'm at home. It started during the starter event. I was really trying to get candies, but was layed up with a bum knee for a few days. I ended up splurging and running incense near non stop.
It was an interesting thing. It was very much worth the extra candies, and I also happened to spawn 2 dragonites and a snorlax. The first dragon was my highest wild so far (2100ish cp), and was one hell of a struggle (with was before the ball mechanics had changed). Ended up with a crappy 21% IV, and SW/DC (my first non SW/HB dragonite at least)
The next morning at had a low cp dragonite spawn, followed about 2 spawns later (10 min or so) by a low cp lax.
Considering how rare I come across either of these, I have no regrets.
