No more than 2 of the same mon in the gym.

(This means that you must put 8 DIFFERENT mon in the gym.)
These must be mon that are in your collection right now. No stat enhancing.

(This was harder than it sounded. I had to skip a Blissey in order to not have both of them together, I wanted diversity so that any attacking team had to really be well thought out, and I really wanted my Espeon at the bottom because she hits HARD!)

The absence of Blissey in your gym makes it so much easier to take down.

Execept for two extra Vapes and an Alakazam, those are pretty much my Top 10 in order.
Great stuff. I really didnt power up many of my mons so i decided not to post a list right now.
Its interesting though, reading through your defenders list and comparing them with gamepress list, Amphorus is quite unpresent. Maybe its because its hard to get hold of him, with the preferred movesets and lots of candy to power up?
I think the biggest problem with Ampharos is his charge moves, which are all 1 bar. Jolteon with discharge or thunder bolt will probably get a charge off, but even with the extra bulk, Ampharos will probably faint.
I would have powered one up, just because, but I ended up with charge beam/focus blast...I would have powered up anyone with volt switch...I have 156 candies right now, but I am waiting to see if he gets a 2 bar charge move.
There are a few on here I would probably level up, possibly max out, since many are left at level 30, but here is my list. I haven't really beefed up too many defenders, nor had much luck with Lax/Nite findings

I would probably tweak this a bit after giving it a go ahead a few times. I still think Eggsy is a valuable defender (with confusion).
I like that my first 4 mons are all semi-glass canons. Confusion really is a beast on defense, even resisted, and lapras is still annoying to fight.
After taking on 4 heavy hitters, then you have to deal with the marathon of blissey, snorlax and another blissey.
The last 3 guys aren't particularly tough, but all usually require a specific type of counter to really ensure a clean win. With vape, that's usually a grass type (not very effective against dnite and neutral for gary). Dnite is easy to counter with an ice type (which isn't useful against anything else) or another dragon (which would then be hit hard by DT/O Gary).
A jolteon would be super theoretically be the best bet against all thee (even though it's neutral damage against Dnite, its still a quick kill), but they just ren't tanky enough to last IM0)
I think Exeggutor is great, but putting them back to back creates a major weakness in your gym. Luckily for you, there is quite a cp gap between your Eggys, which gives you a lot of options. I would either put a Machamp or a water type between them. I think this would cause you to get rid of your Slowbro. Another option would be to swap Vaporeons (if you have another one) and stick an aqua tail one between them instead of the Vape up top.
I agree, but I figured I would put the mons up at the cp I have them at now. I have plenty of candy for eggsy (300+) and eevee's (550+), as well as various cp iterations of their evolutions. I actually have another 90% legacy eggsy with con/seedbomb at level 20 that I've been sitting on.
Only high level machamp I have at the moment is 2300sumthin BP/SUB. I have a few 3000+ cp rhydons that I could always max out higher than gary. If you did save a jolteon for gary, it really is annoying going after a rhydon right after.
Also, if it were me, I may save a L/HB attack snorlax for my last mon, if I were picking a generalist attacker to get thru the last bit. And Rhydon is one of the few mons a snorlax really struggles with.
