Thanksgiving Event strategy

Lucky eggs + incense + lure module + 40 or more ultra balls + 50 or more great balls + egg incubators + eggs about to hatch + pokéstops + gyms.

Incubators of course. I have some about to hatch incubators ready for tomorrow.

What is your team and your current pokécoins? If it is below 500:

Mystic:

Evolve specific Pokémon with thier CP buffed.
Buy egg incubators.
Hatch some 10 kilometer eggs.

Instinct:

Catch more Pokémon.
Power up CP high Pokémon to battle in gyms.
Use a lucky egg + incense + lure module.
Pokémon storage upgrades.

Valor:

Catch more Pokémon.
Bag upgrade and/or Pokémon Storage upgrade and/or egg incubator.
Battle/Train in Gyms using your low CP Pokémon, then power up them using your Stardusts.
Hatch some eggs.

Pokécoins above 500:

Buy 2 egg incubators and upgrade your bag or Pokémon storage.
Hatch at least 3 eggs and walk with your buddy happily.
Earn more Pokécoins.
Buy incenses and/or lure modules.
Anything you want!

Incubators are going to be the most efficient way to take advantage of the event. However, the bag + storage upgrades are forever. If you haven't upgraded them at all yet, I certainly would give them some attention....especially the Pokemon storage

Also, 100 coins a day? You lucky dog you. I got 50 once. Once. Now I'm averaging between 0 and 10

Edit: Also, yeah - lucky eggs are a waste especially once you hit level 30. I wouldn't consider lures, either. Incense are OK if you're flying solo and moving quickly (and are cheaper than lures) but personally I'd rather have the bag space than 8 or 9 extra (likely mediocre) Pokemon

I normally spend half-hour during my lunchbreak on a Pidgey/Rattatta stardust grind. Today I abandoned that and did a fast circuit of pokestops to top up the ball collection. Other than that I might invest in an extra set of incubators.

If you pop a lucky egg do it when you have a bunch of evolution's ready. This is prolly a great time to use those. I would personally save my incubators for the Christmas event.
