Honestly, catching pokemon is gonna suck after this event.

Man you get used to 6x XP (with lucky egg) for catching pokemon real fast. I can't even imagine going back to getting 100xp plus bonuses again. Face it, it's going to suck. I actually think Niantic might have gone overboard with the xp bonuses this time. I just scored between 250k and 300k today alone. I can't go back to 10k days can I?

What do you think, will this affect your motivation going forward?

Hoping to hit level 38 during this event. After that, don't care...

Sure. I'm only at level 34 though. Just made it today. Hoping to get close to level 35 by the end of the event. Should be able to at least get 100k a day without too much effort.

Take a bonus when you get it. Would you rather they didn't do it at all?

We survived after quadruple buddy candy, it'll be fine...

Actually, my motivation to walk my buddy dropped significantly after that event ended. Was walking 12km a day on average during that event and have probably only walked 3km average since. If even that.

honestly i dont really pay attention to my xp gains unless im close to leveling up. but now for the event every time i miss my first throw bonus i hurt a little
