Does anyone have a maxed out chansey to try out? It got a pretty massive buff. Triple the defense and a little more attack.

No, but I have a level 20 Chansey with Pound/Dazzling Gleam that I hatched and never powered up because "Dazzling Gleam." Now I'm anxious to place it in a gym and see what exactly one has to attack it with to beat it before timeout.

I'll have to be sure and choose a gym that already has a few of my mates, cuz once Chansey goes in there'll be no more training that gym up haha

Yeah, training against a Chansey is terrible or even impossible now. Who wants dumping a ton of potions and revives just to receive a minimum amount of prestige.

If Chansey is strong enough now, Blissey is gonna rule the game once Gen2 release.

Both my Chansey have ZHB/Psychic - I did invest a few candies in one to see if it would hold Gyms, but it wasn't successful. Might try again now.

So I carried out the experiment: dropped my level 20, CP 816 Chansey w/ Pound/Dazzling Gleam into a gym and attacked it with my 2850 Dragonite w/ DB/HB.

Dazzling Gleam is super effective against Dragonite, while Hyper Beam is Dragonite's least optimal charge move (although still pretty badass).

Result?

Dragonite KOed Chansey with 42 seconds left on the clock.

Thanks for testing this...maybe against a weaker attacker, it will work, but seems to be not enough still...I will try my Lvl 20 Chansey with Zen Headbutt / Hyper Beam later today...

Try to attack Chansey without a 3k Dragonite for a better test. We all know a 3k Dragonite should beat an 900 CP Chansey. If a level 20 Chansey does better against a level 20 Dragonite it may be worth powering up.
