Worth powering up machamp or should I just stick with my Heracross
Machamp lv 21.5 14/13/13 iv 88.9% has c/cc
Heracross 29.5 13/9/14 iv80.0% has c/cc

Well, even if you don't take into account that the gymrework is going to take place soon, it won't change that there still will be at least one Snorlax and/or Blissey in every gym. Machamp and Heracross are pretty evenly matched, so I'd go for the one with higher IVs. But I also powered up TWO Alakazam with Focusblast as their chargemove to get Blissey as fast down as possible. So just power both of them up, start with Heracross because it will be faster useful for you.
And if you consider that the 3rd gen is also comming and Slaking can reach up to 5441CP you will need good attackers with goot fighting moves.
you have to check FuNKyShO's video of Machamp's moveset comparison. The difference time to beat Pokemon with CC and DP about 1-2 sec. But the big difference is the remaining HP. In my case, I leveled up my Machamp C/CC to 30 because it's the fastest Mon that beat Blissey. Of course I want Machamp with C/DP but it's hard to find Machop here in the wild so I just rely on hatching eggs although it's rare too getting Machop from eggs..
