So Far it looks like the Event has Worked.

The first hour should have been all Slugmas...would have been a great troll...

Here is my catch summary this morning: 26 out of 33 Pokemon are related to the event:
- 7x Vulpix
- 4x Growlithe, Swinub, Shellder each
- 2x Charmander, Cyndaquil, Ponyta each
- 1x Seel

I couldn't walk any longer since it was raining here. I hate it so much that it always rains during every single event. Damn the tropical weather! $@#%^&*()

[More info] Yesterday, I used the infinite incubator to hatched my second Seel and my first ever Sneasel. Strange thing is that it was before the event started that I got Seel and Sneasel which are extremely rare to me. :)

[More ranting] It is also strange that 2 days in a row I could only get 2 eggs from Pokestops. I usually get 4 or more eggs per day. Is that eggs are getting scarcer or is it just me???

I don't know about anyone else, but I haven't seen a single Slugma all day. It's been a good start for me so far; lots of Shellder, Swinub and Houndour candies and racking up the XP with the catch bonuses.

in the first 10 minutes i found a swinub lvl 30 91% iv. cant wait to evolve it

I got a Lapras. Haven't yet check the IV but it has at least 2 15's!

I hatched a 100% IV Slugma in honour of the last event.

I think I caught more ice pokemon today than I had in the last eight months combined. And I even finally caught my first Lapras, although it was a total piece of junk, 300-something CP, hydro pump, and awful stats.

This is gonna be a great event indeed. Lots of fire type pokemon here in my area. I already have enough candy for a houndoom (had 0 candy before the event) and getting really close to Typhlosion aswell! (had 0 candy before the event)
That's 5 new added pages to the dex from scratch :)

I'm seeing lots of fire mons, but rather few ice mons in my small town. I've seen a few Swinubs (3-4), fewer Shellders (2-3), a single Sneasel and a single Seal. That's it. Still some way to go for my Ice mon gold medal.

Lots of Growlithes and Ponytas and a healthy amount of Charmander, Vulpix and Cyndaquil. Only a couple of Houndours, but I'll take it.

Just got to level 34 this morning. Yay!

The capture rate is really awful though. It was to be expected, but I even see common ones with CP below 100 escape twice or run away. The XP gains barely compensate the extra time and balls spent...
