How to prepare for the gym rework?
Farming stardust is the most obvious idea.
Should we hold off evolving potential attackers, defenders and prestigers since their usefulness (including moveset ranking) is likely to change after the rework?
For example, I farm Dratinis, which are common in my biome, and intend to use the event to farm Shellders (since Ice-types are very rare in my area), so should I wait until the rework to evolve my (hatched) wonder Dratinis and Shellders, even if I have hundreds of candy (and my current Cloyster and five Dragonites have poor moves)?
In my local area, gyms rarely last 21 hours, so I usually get 10 coins per day and if I want more, I spend an hour or two getting defenders into as many gyms as I can before they get knocked out. Should I try to get more coins this week (to max out my bag) since the gym rework may make it even harder to get coins?
P.S. Posted a similar question two hours ago but it seems to have disappeared and even the link does not work. Assuming this is a technical issue as I see no reason (and do not notice any message) that it broke any rules.

I'm torn here too. Have colected some dust over the past two weeks and have a lot of decisions coming up. If a move change would be introduced it could be that Blissey gets weaker moves and therefore an evolution now would be favorable (got 95 candy). On the other hand others could be buffed, so waiting out could be an advantage. Everyone has to bet for himself I guess.
I'm actually decreasing my coin/gym hunting since I assume (if the foreign notices are correct), our mons will be kicked out starting June 16th which is only 6 days of coin/dust collecting...
Spending gas/time for 6 more days isn't worth it to me, at least not for a gym I have to drive to...when normally, some of my mons in these gyms can last over a month (or longer).
That said, I think Pokecoins will be harder to get after the rework due to the simple fact that the gym system will be "new" and people will want to try it out so holding a gym will be harder (or impossible)...
If your area is dense, I think going for 10-20 coins max is probably a more time efficient strategy and using the extra time to just catch mons since you probably have a lot more spawns being urban/city with tons of Pokestops.
As for evolving, if the mon has a great moveset now and you have the candies, I think evolving now will ensure you at least have a chance to get that moveset so I'd do it...I've been evolving Machamps (6 already since gen2), Golems (want double rock) since movesets can also get WORST. They can, of course tweak it completely (like Water Pulse and Aqua Tail), or even remove a moveset, but assuming you evolve now and get 1 mon with that move, at least you have it if it ever went legacy (like C/SoB Eggs).
Cloyster with FB/Avalanche is probably his best moveset and worth trying for IMO...
I am hoarding stardust and not evolving anything except Pidgey etc. We don't know if we will still have teams, if prestiging will still be a thing, if CP will matter, or whether Pokémon will still be stuck with only one quick move and one charge move.
I am spending Pinaps to lay in a stash of candy for Pokémon that might someday be good but currently aren't, like Gastly/Gengar and even Krabby/Kingler. Maybe they will get new moves, or the moves they have will get better.
Still walking for Blissey candy.
