Question about Gym Rework/New Defenders

I want to know who everyone thinks would be the top 7 defenders and in what order, if they are not sorted by CP or HP but instead by Pokémon level instead.

i will fill gyms with lvl 30 pidgeys.

In addition to the names that already are frequently mentioned (Steelix, Slowbro/King), Forretress, Skarmory, and Mantine all have good defensive stat distributions. Sure would make 10k eggs a little more appealing if they were buffed.

This nerfs low level players.

What does? Adding easy to get mons to the mix? Depends on how they institute it I guess. It'll help mid level players and cheapen high level player accounts I think.

It ensures my level 38 pokemon will always be above yours.

Well that doesn't really sound like a solid plan. I missed the level part and thought we were talking the limited defenders thing. My bad.

Brace yourselves. Shuckle and wobbuffet will reign supreme!

Current top 7 will remain the top 7. I would hope Steelix and Forretress both get buffed substantially along with the return of mighty Lapras. Would be nice to see Slowbro and Poliwrath regain some past glory too. Donphan and Espeon will be the most likely "newcomers" though.
