If you could pick one snorlax, would you prefer zh/hb or lick/bs

lick/bs as I think Snorlax is more useful as a defender than attacker and that moveset works better for defence.

Lick/body slam for both attack and defense. Basically hyper beam is useless.

Hyper beam is useless if it is used by a defender. If that's a attacker, it's really awesome. And don't forget Snorlax's high base stats and simply ignore those small differences in IVs.

I would go with ZH/HB. Lick are too bad for defense, AI minimal cooldown is 1.5s so you miss two attacks (cuz Licks cooldown is 0.5s and could be used 3 times when will be used only 1 time by the AI) and only do 5 damage/1.5s while you can hit 12 damage/1.5s with Zen Headbutt. The only advantage of Lick is the low cooldown which its not an advantage when used by the AI, thats why Lick is high rated only for attack. Besides this Zen/HB is rated A for attack too.

Agree. One advantage of long cooldown time attacks is that they charge the 2nd attack really fast. Take the Steel Wing Dragonite for example, it is rated A for defending, but one can still use it for attacking by attack-dodge-attack, this will make it outperform many other low CP pokemons.

Lick is a ghost-type attack, since the last Halloween event, many people had caught gengars. Ghost does 1.25 times damage to ghost. And hyper beam can kill low CP pokémon instantly, even if they dodge.

wish pvp has implemented today so that my lick/body slam can be shown how to kick zh/hyper beam'ass lol

Spend dust/candies on a offensive Snorlax is waste of resourses IMO. Its a tank pokémon with a river of HP and low damage stats, you like him to attack?.

Why not? It's the fun of the game since u are taking control the Pokémon, not AI. IMO it's a waste of dusts and candies to invest in defensive (movesets) pokemons instead.
Btw, which do u think have advantages over the other in pvp? The best attack fast moves or the best defensive moves? For the same pokemons

I mean you can take the control of better pokemon to attack and spend ur dust on him cuz are more efficient (individual stats x moveset). I was thinking about to power my Lick/BS too, but his damage are too low, take lots of time to kill AI who dont dodges, imagine in a PVP where ppl will dodge and ur Lick will hit (0,25*5) damage...times up.

These are my firing power. I just enjoy destroying gyms with all those. Again I think it's the fun of the game. Besides, they can be placed in gym as well.

Good, but I don't even have a dragonair, machamp and lapras, also the hardest, exeggutor.

I had the same pair of Snorlax and after tests I realised Lick/BS is tragic, and charged ZH/HB with much lower IV. You don´t want to jump around=dodge with tank like Snorlax when attacking, it ridiculous (as it looks in the animation). ZH is much better for defense and type-effectiveness
