Only 50 prestige for equal level win?

For bubblestrat++ I'm trying out a 10cp/10hp/200dust rattata with quick attack as defender and 10cp/10hp/200dust horsea with water gun as attacker. Works well in that victory is fast & no damage taken, but am only receiving 50 prestige! What's wrong?

Because prestige gain is based on highest CP in the party, not the pokemon you use to fight.

You need to bring 6 pokemon with 10 cp.

I think he used 6 pokemons with 10CP all. But the training gym mechanic has been changed recently, now you will receive maximum 500 prestige points and 50 XP per fight if your attacking pokemon's CP is half of your defending pokemon's CP.
So that bubbletrat is not usable anymore.
