DPD instead of DPS?

I dodge every attack. So despite vine ship having a higher DPS than razor leaf, in actual battle i get more damage with razor leaf.

I can use 2 vine whips between dodges for 14 dmg and 1 razor leaf for 15dmg so razor leaf would be the ideal quick attack for grass types for me

anyone find something similar?

Due to damage formula calculations, 14 and 15 damage might not have any difference in HP lost, due to rounding.

However, every attack has +1 added to it which means faster attacks gain more damage.

Yep. If you're dodging attacks DPS is not as important as how many damage you can make before having to dodge again.

Vine Whip will still deal more DPD. Damage formula favours quicker attacks due to +1 damage added to all attacks.

Assuming you're fighting Vaporeons, it's possible to fit 3 and rarely 4 vine whips between water guns.
