A simple question: is there a way to know the exact iv?

I have Snorlax with 2 possible iv and i would like to know which one I should consider:
13 10 12 35/45 (77.8%)
13 12 8 33/45 (73.3%)

You need to power up half a level in order to try and check it, but even then it's not conclusive in some cases due to the stat distribution of Snorlax. If the final CP at full levels is the same, the IV doesn't really matter.

In any case I'd advise against powering unless it is a Lick/Hyper beam, Zen headbutt/hyperbeam or Zen headbutt/heavy Slam.

I have one of each you've mentioned. A ZH/HB and a L/HB, but considering the type coverage and the performance on defense, even liking Lick, the ZH one is the best option.

Go for the ZH/HB if you are happy with the CP it will reach at your desired level, I'm sure it will be great. A Snorlax is a snorlax after all so you can't really go wrong with it.

If the IV calculator shows more than one possible dataset you can drop it in a gym and use https://gymhuntr.com to see the actual values. Put in gym, scan it, view the gym history and click on the mon.

Snorlax has AttackStat=DefenseStat so:
1attIV outputs exactly the same amount of CP of 2defIV
This means that there is no way to know the exact IV in cases like yours.

Was it hatched from an egg? If so, I believe none of the IVs can be less than 10. This would mean that it would have to be the first one. Otherwise, the only way to know for sure would be to power it up once, check again. If still unsure, power up and try again.

Or, in reality, those 4.5% won't make any appreciable difference at all and it won't matter in the end.
