Where can I find Larvitar & Mt. Moon Biomes?
So I've slowly managed to find Dratini occasionally by rivers, although I still don't know how people get several Dragonites when they're at my same level, and I only just reached enough for one. I know that they spawn most in Mt. Moon biomes. Is there any way to determine where a Mt. Moon biome is besides lots of Clefairys?
And then here's the main question: Where the heck can I find Larvitar? I've been playing extremely often in a residential area since the release of Gen 2, and haven't even seen one on the Nearby list. I've hatched two so far. How is everyone getting enough Larvitar candy to get a Tyranitar so fast, and where can I find Larvitars?
Answers
I hatched a bunch of them when gen 2 first came out. As far as wild Larvitar, I see them in neighborhoods, same biome as Snorlax.
Also, I think Dragonite spawns in different locations than Dratini. I have never seen one in an area where I have seen the other. There are places that are known for spawning Dragonites, such as Rice Park in St. Paul and Lexington ave in Eagan.
